I Miss Saturday Morning Cartoons From The 1980`s...

Ah man the 1980`s were some crazy & wild times, but quite honestly I really believe that they had some of the very best cartoons to offer us `80's babies. I can still remember waking up early on those Saturday mornings, filling out a big bowl of Capt`n Crunch & then sitting down to enjoy some awesome animated entertainment. Now-a-days the cartoons just aren`t the same & the Saturday morning offerings are nothing to really wake up early for any more....LoL, maybe I`m just stuck in the `80's but that is truly how I feel! I do however have some experience to back up my thoughts though since I have a son that wakes me up extra early on those Saturday mornings. So I have seen what`s being offered now & it`s definitely nothing special, don`t get me wrong though. There are a few exceptions of course, but nothing like the good ol` days...

Once my boy gets old enough to hold conversation with (he`s only 1 & 1/2 years old now) I`m definitely going to school him on the classic cartoons that his pops grew up on like; the Transformers, M.A.S.K., G.I. Joe, Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters, Bravestarr, Ducktales, The Get Along Gang, Gummi Bears, Inspector Gadget, He-Man, Muppet Babies, The Raccoons, She-Ra, The Smurfs, Wuzzles, Astro Boy, The Care Bears, Superfriends, Heathcliff, Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thundercats, Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors, Pound Puppies, My Pet Monster, Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teddy Ruxpin, ALF: The Animated Series, Bionic Six, C.O.P.S., Denver The Last Dinosaur, Police Academy, The Chipmunks, Captain N, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! & even The Simpsons to name a few...

The good ol` days may be gone, but you best believe that every now & then I will take a lil` journey back in time to enjoy some of the classics & since I have a son now he`ll be taking those trips with me....LoL, I`m sure he`ll enjoy it. He`ll be able to tell all his friends about them as well so these awesome `toons can continue to live on with the newer generation of kids today...
